SXSW 2022

Free Your Spine got selected out of 3000 proposals to take part in the one and only SXSW event that happens every year in March, apart from the covid years of which we know everything ground to a halt.

This was the first year back and oh my the energy in the city of Austin was electric!

You never know what happens, when in Austin, I managed to also nail a second workshop for LAs first and largest immersive art and music dome Wisdome LA. 

Free Your Spine is a movement methodology that was developed out of my own lived (chronic back pain and emotional wellbeing challenges), as well as my professional experience (30 plus years of personal movement exploration and teaching experience).

I believe Free Your Spine bridges the gap- of what I felt and observed from many years of going to classes and events- that was waiting to be filled- a movement method that specifically focuses on holistic spinal movements AND playful vibes. It’s this unique combo of getting playful with it, combined with the back and hip centric focused movements, that I believe is the secret sauce and know can help so many people around the world, especially in these chaotic and sedentary tech based times that we live in.

I met some incredible ground breaking minds and inspiring humans.
